The play set is well worth the money. The kids love it. The size of structure is huge so the kids can grow with it. The only problem is the install. I am middle of the road with assembling things but this play set was a pain. Odd hardware triples the time it should take. Ultimately, it would be worth your sanity to pay someone to assemble this product.

Overall very pleased. If you assemble it yourself you will definitely need an extra set of hands to help with fastening the roof and installing the swing bar to the main tower. Other than those two areas I was able to install everything else solo. Plan for at least a full day to complete and take your time.

This swing set is a great one! Lots of cool features for little kids and bigger kids. It took my husband and myself 3 evenings after work to put it together. I thought it would be harder than it was to put together. I will say there were a few times that the directions didn’t give you enough information on which way a part should face so you have to undo a few things you have already done to fix it.

This is a great play set, but the dimensions for it are listed differently in multiple places. This site area overhead view would have saved me hours of site prep (see photo). Hopefully someone else finds it useful!

I looked at all types of swing sets and I did not want a wooden set. When reading all the reviews on this, they were all great and I am extremely happy I purchased this set. It was a little confusing at times to put together. Mostly when putting together the top of the deck. The instructions were a little confusing but nothing too bad. I was happy with the weight of the set and not having to set it in concrete. I tried swinging\monkey bars and had no issues (5’10 – 180). My 7 yr old and 3 yr old absolutely love it. If you are looking for a swing set, definitely consider this one.

Instructions could have been a little more clear, but we were able to get it up with just 2 scrawny adults. It took about 3 days to put it up. Very well made, and endless fun! We’ve had several neighbors stop and ask where we got it. Everyone hates their wooden ones, which is exactly why we had to have this beast! Also, unless you’re absolutely certain your yard is flatter than a flitter, you will probably have to dig down or build up your yard. But that’s a possibility for any set this big. We had to dig down the tower and raise the monkey bars with steppingstones. As soon as it’s level though it is incredibly stout! It doesn’t move at all, even with the adults swinging on it!

Wife and I banged out this install in about 8 hours. Directions were pretty good, but like other reviewers said, a couple of steps with the directions were spelled backward. No big deal. It’s easy to figure out that there’s errors. The actual playground itself is very stout and looks like it will hold up for a real long time. I can’t say how it’s going to hold up over 5-10 years, but as a mechanic and remodeler, I am pretty confident the entire set will last until our almost 1 year old twins go to middle school.I can’t wait to see my 4 year and 9 month old twins grow old into it.

I spent most of the summer researching play sets. We live in the mid-Atlantic, so we needed something that could withstand severe heat/humidity as well as single-digit temps. We also have kids in all age ranges and needed something even the big kids could dink around on. To me, all of this (and the local termite issues) meant a wooden set was out of the question.I’m so glad I found this set! As other reviewers have said, assembly isn’t for the faint of heart just due to the sheer size and weight of the set and the instructions being a bit confusing in places (the slide and ladder are actually kind of a pick-your-own-configuration type of deal). However, all of the heavy-duty hardware was included with a few extras (which came in handy after a certain bolt ended up cross-threaded).We did leave the trapeze off for now, since I had ordered a climbing rope swing for that spot instead. As you can see from the pics, the three big dudes who assembled it (my husband, his friend, and my 6’2” 16yo) all did a “stress test” once assembly was finished (they played on it, lol), and it held up just fine.My 11yo and 5yo have been having a BLAST on it. It’s a timeless design, and I can see this set lasting through grandchildren. It’s the perfect central focus for the Lifetime products playground we’re planning for the side yard. Highly recommend this set if you have the room for it.

My girls (3 and 6) love this playset! My 3 year old feels like Rapunzel in the tower and 6 year old gymnast loves the monkey bars and trapeze bar. The monkey bars are the reason we bought this set.It took 13 hours total to build and took a lot of adjusting to line up the tower with the swing part to align the holes and bolts. Yard needs to be totally level. That being said after 2 rainy days I noticed lots of cracks and rusting already 🙁 see photos.

Kids love it. We have 5 kids ages 4-12, all were playing all day outside! Kind of a pain to put together but worth it. Instructions could be more clear but overall not bad. Took roughly 10 hours with 2 adults. Picture shows how it arrived, seen lots of people asking. Delivery contacted us to arrange for it to be delivered a day early, which was nice. No damage to product or packaging.

This was packaged very well. There were 3 main boxes and then the big plastic parts. The instructions were in a pocket on the outside of one of the boxes. The hardware is all very organized and tidy. There are many packages of hardware with the same pieces in different packages. Make sure you don’t rip off the name of the parts when you open a certain part! If you take your time and follow the instructions without getting impatient it will be worth it. 🙂 we spent 5 or so hours on Saturday and again on Sunday and got just the tower done with 2-3 people. Don’t try to guess what the instructions are going to say. There’s a certain way to lay the floor of the upper level of the tower so the ladder and slide’s bolts can be screwed on later and we did that wrong and ended up making our own drill holes and have to buy some longer bolts. I also think we put some of the walls out of order which I hope we don’t regret. What if the lower exit runs right into a person swinging? One person sort of needs to manage each step because too many cooks in the kitchen made us start speeding along and got confusing. I was hoping to have it done in a day. I would give yourself 3 days of at least 5 hours each. Our 1 and 2 year old were having a ball just playing on the parts before it was even put together. The instructions do say that if the slide faces south it can get hot if it’s in sun.

Pretty great. Durable but it does shake a little when doing the end pull up swing bar. 2 people put it together in 8 hours .

Wow!!! I will say I was leaning towards a wood set until my parents found this. The reviews (here and a club store) sold me because the reviews were consistently positive. Yes, the instructions were 100 pages and took about 11 hours with three of us (1 reading and setting us all the parts ahead of each step and 2 doing most of the heavy lifting). Like others have said, the tower took the longest and was smooth sailing after. It’s since been tested out by a range of ages and is definitely high quality and will hold up for years to come – my son is 3-1/2.For the perimeter, I went with close to 25×25 and there is PLENTY of clearance and for the area under the tower, I filled with pea gravel for a fun construction zone.

My kids love it!! They got it for Christmas and now play outside all the time!!! The 3 star rating is because it has been very difficult to get the missing pieces replaced. It was missing the plastic gate part from around the top when it was delivered. My kids are older so they just know not to fall off the top, but I worry about it not being safe for my 4 year old.

We received this as a Christmas gift from the grandparents and put it together quickly after the holiday! Mom and Grandpa assembled over a two day period (in freezing cold weather) about 10 hours total. We found directions to be quite clear and labeled well. We were unsure if it would be stable without tie downs at all points but with four little ones all over it, it has proven to be quite sturdy! Kids ages: 11,8,6,3…the oldest can still stand up on the top platform and it has good height in lower hideout area as well. Very pleased. We added a third swing instead of the bar.

This swingset has been wonderful for our 2 1/2 year old. She climbs up the ladder to the tower herself and loves to go down the slide. The nice thing about this set is that she isn’t quite tall enough to use the monkey bars or able to use the trapeze bar or fireman’s pole which means there is room for her to grow and still continue to enjoy this set for many years to come.

The quality of this product is impressive! You can tell that it’s going to last a very long time.Assembly really wasn’t that bad. It comes delivered in several boxes that are each light enough for two people to carry. I am a pretty handy guy, and I put this product together by myself in about two days. The instructions are ok, but there are so many steps and pieces that you just need to go in understanding that they are going to be challenges and that you will need to be patient.I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I love watching my kids play on this playground.

We love this item, but the kids love it more, this was a perfect playground upgrade purchase now that the kids are bigger…Team work..Two people can put this together in one day….you just need to have the time so it can be done! ( And someone pick up kids from school and take them to practice for you) love this item, very fast shipping & shipped right to the house…..it was easy to put together

Perfect swingset for my kids. Took 2 full days to put together. Probably would have been 1 day with help. The swingset is strong and sturdy and my kids love it. What more could you want?

Bought this from a warehouse club and recently set it up with my wife. We live in Arizona and it was incredibly hot so we spaced the install up over about 6 days and did a little each day when we had time.POSITIVES- Well thought out playset, kids love it- Each component seemed well made- Pieces for the most part fit together and didn’t have to drill more than 15 or so holes with the drill.- Somewhat flexible in that you can switch the ladder and the slide to give more flexibility. Our yard isn’t huge and wouldn’t work right if we set it up like you see in the image for the listing. Instead we swapped the ladder and slide and it fit perfect for our situation.NEGATIVES- Instruction manual was wrong in several places- Spare hardware was not enough, had to substitute screws we had extra of to use in other places- Extra hardware leftover that was not part of the spare bag.- The grey plastic walls on the upper level did not seat just right so screws are placed awkwardly. Cosmetic worry only.OVERALLWe really like the set and hope it stands the test of time with the brutal Arizona summer sun and the sprinklers. If it does well after a couple years I’ll come back and add on a star… for the time being the agony of the installation makes me dock it a star.I included a picture of the tower after we finished putting it together. This was before we put the swings and other items together
