Description
Picture a two-level playhouse with its giant super-slide and swing set to boot. Now picture enough fun activities to entertain ten kids at once. Put them together and you have the mighty, multitasking Cloverdale Wooden Swing Set. The two classic belt swings would’ve been plenty of fun, even without the premium glider that seats one or two. And they could have left out the play clock with moveable hands or the chalkboard tarp. But that’s just not us. They even added a few nice things for grownups—like 100% premium cedar lumber and sturdy, pre-assembled panels that make assembly easier.

Okay so first this playground set is super cute. A little difficult to set up you definitely need two people at times. So far it’s held up nicely. Be careful of spliters here and there after a few rains and sun shines. I will be sanding a little and adding a waterproof stain just in case. My only complaint is the delivery system that is used. We recieved the entire package my only complaint is it sat in a truck in my town for almost 2 weeks till they delivered on the delivery day that was chosen. I had called and offered to go pick up if I could to recieve it earlier and they said no. So instead of delivering earlier to the customer they let it sit for weeks was quite disappointed by that. But the delivery guys were very nice when it was delivered. Other then that I would recommend the set to any parent with a toddler. We set it up so the ladder is in front as I didn’t want my LO climbing the ladder in not eyes view. It took a little bit configuration but it was very easy and possible to do.

Looked for weeks and decided on this one. After reading the reviews we found a professional on Yelp/Craigslist that was able to put it together perfectly in less than 4 hours by himself for less than $400… Totally worth it!!! He did not use the stakes to put it in the ground and it is still super sturdy. I taped some paper to the magnet part of the door handle so it wasn’t so hard for the little kids to open… All the kids absolutely love it! We were looking into one that was almost $5k and this one is just about identical!

We bought this as a gift for our 4 year old Grandson. It was a bit of a pain to have delivered. They use an outside shipping company and they were extremely rude when delivering the set. It also required that an adult be home to sign for the delivery. That’s a bit of pain since most people are working in between 8-5.The set itself though is great. The directions state 2 people for assembly in 10-14 hours. My husband had it done by himself in one 8-9 hour day. He said the clue to not being overwhelmed is to GET ORGANIZED before you begin the project. Lay everything out including the hardware so you won’t have to search for things.

Overall, a great swing set. The slide assembly is no joke. It took longer to do the slide then the rest of the set. Super cute. We added the infant swing to accommodate our grandchild. Sturdy. Done in 6 hours but assembled by a team of 6 adults. Definitely need at least three sets of hands.

Install instructions were a B rating. If you have common sense you’ll be fun. No instructions at all for tube slide but it was painless. Very sturdy. Definitely will have to stain it but a perfect size for kids. I did it by myself in 13hrs.

THE SLIDE ALONE WILL TAKE 2 PEOPLE 8-10 hours to assemble, and my husband is generally”handy”. We couldn’t believe it took as long as the rest of the set did. If we would have had the room, I would never again do the enclosed twirl slide, awful assembly design. Most of the assembly went ok, but you do have to have a good handle on projects or good at getting creative to figure out some pieces. We have had it up about 6 weeks and the kids have loved it, so well worth the work. Expect to spend a weekend building, though! We are hoping it lasts! It seems to be better quality than most sets you see displayed at stores, for sure.

Disregard other reviews stating that this play set is flimsy or contains cheap materials, it does not! This play set is great at this price point! The structure is sturdy and secure feeling. The swings feel strong and supportive even with an adult using them. The slide feels strong and secure as well. The only drawback of this play set is the assembly. Prepare to have two people on hand and a full day of work ahead of you. Also make sure you have all tools readily accessible. I made the mistake of tackling the assembly by myself and it took me 10+ hours of constant work. I’m very well versed in the construction and/or assembly of structures and I can tell you with confidence that this is a 2+ person job. This is a great product made with quality materials and hardware. I would highly recommend this play set to anyone but be prepared to have someone assemble it for you if you’re not incredibly handy with tools and vague instructions.

After reading the reviews we knew we were in for a job. This was a 10 hour job for 2 people. The wood part went by fairly smoothly but where we ran into the issue was with the slide. This was a major pain and took about 3 hours of our time. There were places for the hex lock nuts to go into but they didnt fit right. We did notice that some of the wood was slightly cracked, a little warped and not perfectly flat which caused concern when screwing them in. Instructions were a little clumsy. We found some shortcuts that worked for us that actually seemed to save some time but the slide killed any hope of getting ahead. Our daughter loves it and that is all that matters. I just hope that it holds up. Do I ever want to put together another one of these, and the answer would be a definite No.
